The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience is a tech demo that pushes the boundaries, just like the Matrix films have always done. With The Matrix Resurrections releasing later this month, The Matrix Awakens (with performances by Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss) is both a teaser for the latest Matrix film and a showpiece for what's possible with a next-gen console and Unreal Engine 5.
The tech demo was created by Lana Wachowski along with the original movie team. Epic Games also helped out, and fans should look forward to receiving "a glimpse into the future of interactive storytelling and entertainment".
