Hi-Fi Rush is a new Rhythm Action game from Tango Gameworks where you play as rocker Chai who is hell bent on taking down the evil corporation. Announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct on January 25th it was a surprise to many when they announced it would release just a few hours later. Tango Gameworks, known for The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo, show that horror isn't the only thing they're cut out for in this colorful musical adventure.
As Chai you'll swing your guitar around to defeat the robots of the Armstrong Corporation, earning bonuses for swinging them in time with the music. Chai has obtained his musical abilities as a result of a corporate experiment that lets him feel the world's rhythm. Along the way Chai will have to face off against the different bosses
Chai will explore the world and watch as everything from the enemy's movements to the elevators and traps will move along with the beat. At any point in time, you've got your trusty friend Bob the robot talking cat who will pulse with the music. Chai's attacks will also sync up with the beat, and if you manage to hit your attacks in time with it you'll start racking up a combo.
