Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an action RPG spin-off from Suikoden spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle, developed by NatsumeAtari and released ahead of the main game. CJ heads to New Nevaeh in search of Rune-lenses, powerful magic items that have a number of uses throughout the world. She teams up with Garoo and Isha to explore deeper into the nearby ruins, while also rebuilding New Nevaeh along the way.
You'll pick up numerous quests in New Nevaeh and the surrounding areas, with successful quests rewarding money, items, or even improved shops. This is also where you'll keep your party's equipment up to date, using materials gathered from enemies.
While in combat, you must switch between each character to take advantage of enemy weaknesses. By switching to another character at the end of other's combo, you can keep the attacks coming without stopping. Each of the three playable characters has their own attacks, with their movesets expanding as you upgrade weapons.
