Eastern Exorcist

Eastern Exorcist is a 2D hack-and-slash platformer drawing inspiration from the Souls series and classical Chinese mythology. You are Lu Yunchuan, the titular exorcist, who must travel the land in search of the evil King Mandrill in order to expunge his influence and save China from his demonic armies.

Taking cues from Chinese opera, Eastern Exorcist tells its stories as a series of blood-soaked vignettes. Combat is swift, fluid, and responsive, with plenty of boss encounters scattered throughout levels to test your skill and resilience. It's a unique approach to Soulslike gameplay that feels fresh but familiar and features lots of mythological demons to battle.
