Dragon Quest is the daddy of the JRPG genre, having gone on to inspire some of the all-time most popular JRPG series in the world. Although unsuccessful on it's original release in the west, going by the title Dragon Warrior, the game was a massive hit in Japan, and has since gone on to become one of the most widely known video games in the world. 

Telling the story of the descendant of the legendary hero Erdrick. You must journey to battle an ancient evil which threatens to throw the world into an everlasting era of darkness. With only your wits and your bright blue armour you must travel the land to write wrongs and generally be a hero.

Story
