This DDoS attack that's targeting DynDNS is a real pain, taking so many major sites down right now. Personally, I can't access a number of sites I use for work, and that includes the one that gives me access to all my clients' servers!

Other than Twitter, Disqus, Spotify and more - what are you running into?

P.S. We're working on an article for this now!

PayPal was down yesterday when I tried to order a sandwich, but otherwise, it's just been a bunch of slow speeds on Netflix and such.

Twitter sure does seem pretty slow traffic wise today though.

It definitely appears to be regional.  I haven't encountered any issues in service, not even slow speeds.

More and more news about hackers attack appear every day. It's scary. It’s quite difficult to fight with this type of malware for the simple reason that all requests come from different locations. Generally, protection mechanism includes filtration and blackholing processes, removing server vulnerability, upgrading, decentralization (is a building of distributed and duplicate systems that provide services in an emergency) and hedging (is an IP-address masking). I have read about DDoS attacks at this site .  I think it's important to think about internet security more carefully. To use blocking programs, secure browser like Tor and vpn . It hides IP and protects the personal data.
