Dawn of Man ($22.49, 10% off - Our Review) is a hybrid strategy/real-time strategy game that explores a time period that's rarely addressed by video games: the earliest days of man. In Dawn of Man, you'll begin as a hunter-gatherer tribe with a few tents and eventually expand into a small town with massive crops. Raise animals, hunt wooly mammoths, fend of raiders, and more in your quest to build a successful society!
GRIS ($12.74, 25% off - Our Review) is a beautiful puzzle platformer from Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital. Not a single word is spoken in this game, but that doesn't make the story any less compelling. You'll control the titular girl Gris as she moves through a surreal world filled with strange geometry and even stranger creatures. You can also grab the excellent GRIS Soundtrack for $7.49, a 25% discount.
The Messenger ($13.99, 30% off - Our Review) is a platformer about a badass ninja. That's really all you need to know. If you do care about the plot, it's simply this: demons are coming, and you must bring a scroll to your clan in order to save them. You'll travel across the land kicking demon ass with your badass ninja powers! You can also get The Messenger Soundtrack Disc 1 and Disc 2 for $3.49 apiece, a 30% discount.

Moonlighter ($11.99, 40% off - Our Review) is a game that sits in my Steam library, mocking me and making me worry about the hundreds of hours of time I could lose. You're going to dive into dungeons with exciting roguelike combat, dig up some treasures, and then take them back to the surface and sell them for a neat profit. Essentially, Moonlighter is to Recettear as Stardew Valley is to Harvest Moon and it's well worth a look.
Sunless Skies ($21.24, 15% off - Our Review) has you flying a magical train through Lovecraftian-esque space and shooting bad guys with fantastical weapons. No, really — that's an accurate description of the game. Manage your crew, upgrade your engine, and do your best to survive in a horrifying world!
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action ($11.99, 20% off) is the last game we'll be highlighting in the GOG Indie Week sale. You'll play as a bartender in a cyberpunk dystopia where the choice of what you serve decides how customers will react. It's certainly one of the more interesting games in the mix and you should definitely give it a look!
That's it for the games we're highlighting for the GOG Indie Week sale! We've only touched on a small portion of the great titles you can grab at a discount, so go ahead and check out the GOG Indie Week sale for yourself and grab some great DRM-free games at a bargain!
