The good people over at GOG are currently gifting some players with free games from their wishlists. A newsletter was sent round to select GOG customers thanking them for "being a part of GOG.com...[valuing] DRM-free ideas and preserving our gaming heritage". To show appreciation, GOG has added a game from those players' wishlists to their library for free.
The comments over on this Reddit thread seem to suggest that it's mostly Telltale games being gifted; a couple of commenters seem to have received Telltale's episodic Caped Crusader caper Batman: The Enemy Within, while another received Tales of Monkey Island. Some people even say they've been gifted multiple Telltale games. One Reddit user on the thread suggests that this might be due to the games being delisted from GOG at some point in a manner akin to The Walking Dead, but this remains unconfirmed.
All you need to do to check if you received a free game is sign in to GOG and check out your library; if there's a game you didn't previously own in your library (and it's a Telltale game, most likely), then congratulations, you're a winner. Obviously, you'll have to have games on your wishlist, and it seems it would help if at least some of them were Telltale titles.
If you didn't receive a game, not to worry: the GOG Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale is still a-roarin'. Revisit old classics like seminal survival horror Dead Space, open-world cow-punching simulator The Saboteur, or underrated BioWare RPG Jade Empire, all with a massive 75% slashed off their price tags. If those don't tickle your fancy, then maybe Panzer General spiritual successor Panzer Corps (90% off), open-world crime sandbox Mafia II (80% off) or the musical stylings of the wonderfully trippy BIT.TRIP Runner (90% off) will do it for ya. In the rare event that nothing there seems good enough, the piece de resistance is a 60% chop for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition, which can be had for a measly $20.
No matter what your taste might be, there'll be something for you this Black Friday on GOG. Everything's up and running until November 27th at 11pm UTC, so snap up what you want before then.
