As E3 approaches so does Summer and that means sales! While it’s not the famed Steam summer sale, GOG has decided to freshen up the area and roll out the tables first and invite you to come party with them with an eclectic range of games available at their biggest ever Summer Sale, featuring over 1500 games on sale and several special offers.
First up is a special sales promotion – on your first purchase during the summer sale you will receive Double Damage Game’s excellent Rebel Galaxy for free. When we reviewed it back in 2015, we gave it a 9.5 citing the space exploration, action, and challenge as a near perfect mix in the game, which sadly has gotten a bit forgotten since its release.
What’s better than a free game when you buy anything through June 20th? How about another round of GOG Connect? In fact, the biggest round of GOG Connect is here. There are over 40 games in this round of GOG Connect, including some repeats from past rounds and some brand new premieres for it like Not A Hero, Dropsy, and The Walking Dead Season 1. Beyond Connect and a free game offer, there is, of course, the more than 1500 games for sale. That’s a daunting prospect for anyone to sort through, even if some of them are just different editions of the same title.
