Yesterday was Canada Day. Canadians both at home and abroad celebrated their nation in many different ways, but the festivities at GOG continue. The GOG Canada Day Sale is here, bringing with it impressive discounts on some pretty huge Canadian games. Let's have a look what's on offer.

If you like your games brutally hard, check out Cuphead (15% off). This rather brilliant run-and-gun boss rush bonanza is beautifully animated and packs a challenging punch too. Metroidvania marvels Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (70% off) and Guacamelee! 2 - Complete (50% off) are well worth a look if you're into exploration platformers. You should also give the underrated Rogue Legacy (80% off) a try.

Perhaps you're leaning in a more RPG-ward direction. If so, the excellent Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition (75% off) stuffs one of BioWare's best CRPGs and all its DLC into one easily digestible package. For something a little more hopeless, try Darkest Dungeon (70% off) and despair as your intrepid explorers are overcome by eldritch horror. It's also well worth checking out Grandia II Anniversary Edition (50% off) if you love your JRPGs.

The great games in the GOG Canada Day Sale just keep coming. Platforming throwback The Messenger (30% off) is just as awesome now as it was on release. Weirdo adventure game Jazzpunk (75% off) is still a must-play. If you haven't had your fill of side-scrolling action, then check out Apotheon (75% off) or Sundered: Eldritch Edition (also 75% off). Up for a little heartbreak? How about To The Moon (75% off) and its sequel Finding Paradise (60% off)?

There's so much good stuff I haven't mentioned in the GOG Canada Day Sale, so go check it out and find your new favorite game. I'll be over here planning to steal the secrets of the Canadian gaming industry. We can't allow them to keep getting it right like this. The sale is live until July 8th.
