Four of the games up for grabs in week two of the Gamesplanet Christmas sale

We're now officially in December, which means only one thing. Well, it means many things, but for our purposes, it means week two of the Gamesplanet Christmas extravaganza is now live. You'll find plenty of games at ridiculous prices in this sale. Let's have a look at some of the highlights this week.

Gamesplanet Christmas Deals - Apocalyptic Fun

Who says you can't enjoy yourself when the world ends? Certainly not the developers of these games. Fallout 4 (70% off) may not anything like the roleplaying depth of its predecessors, but it's great fun as a massive open-world shooter. While A Plague Tale: Innocence (43% off) isn't technically post-apocalyptic, diseased rats threatening humanity sounds pretty end-of-the-world to me. Can't get enough of rats causing the downfall of civilization? Check out Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (79% off).

Life Simulation At a Bargain

If all you've ever wanted is to enjoy a normal, everyday life, then the Gamesplanet Christmas deals have you covered. Before diving into Shenmue 3, check out the series' beginnings in Shenmue I & II (71% off). These games are an acquired taste, but if you can acquire that taste, then they can be pretty enjoyable. If kung-fu masters and fishing are out of your wheelhouse, give Farming Simulator 19 (27% off) a try. Believe it or not, it's all about starting and maintaining your own farm. If you like it a lot, and get good enough, you could even compete in the professional Farming Simulator circles, which are a thing.

Gamesplanet Christmas Deals - Fighting Fit

Christmas is a time for peace and tranquility, but that doesn't have to mean playing peaceful games. Mortal Kombat 11 (60% off) continues the series' brutal fighting gameplay with aplomb. For Honor (70% off) is an intriguing idea that may not entirely pay off but is well worth a look nonetheless. If these aren't suitably adventure-filled, then check out Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (80% off), a thoroughly odd and absorbing RPG with some seriously excellent ideas.

As ever, we've only just scratched the surface of everything that's available as part of this week's Gamesplanet Christmas deals. Go take a look and see what will bring you festive cheer this holiday season.
