Best Tabletop and Board Game Deals on Black Friday 2018

Black Friday is upon us once more, bringing a host of tabletop and board game deals. GameStop may have some great deals on video games, but we're after savings on more traditional ones. Miniatures, storage, rules books, strategy games and more are all set to go on sale. This list is by no means exhaustive, so make sure to check back every day to see if any new deals have been added.

Smaller General Retailers

Sometimes, the best deals are hiding out on smaller sites. Here are some of the deals we've found so far:
  • 15% off of listed prices in Boardlandia's store, with free shipping on orders over $60. The sale codes are below:
    • Black Friday: BF18
    • Small Business Saturday: SS18
    • Cyber Monday: CM18
  • CoolStuffInc is lacking in RPG supplies, but has a wide selection of tabletop and board games on sale
  • Miniature Market has miniatures, accessories, rulebooks and more on sale, largely from Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars games
  • Barnes & Noble's games are buy one, get one 50% off, plus you can get an additional 15% off with the code BLKFRIDAY
  • The Game Steward is running a sale on Kickstarter board games, with free shipping on orders totaling $99 or more
  • CardHaus Games is running a sale from Black Friday through Cyber Monday

Target

Many of Target's deals are available both online and in-store, depending on availability. Target is also offering free 2-day shipping on some select items.

Amazon

The online retail giant is pulling no punches with their sales, with many titles seeing extreme discounts with a Prime membership. Deals that are only available due to a Prime membership are marked as such. Note that some third-party sellers may be selling certain titles below even the already steeply discounted price.

Walmart

Walmart is no stranger to massive discounts on Black Friday from everything to televisions to shoes. Board games are no exception, and there's plenty of great deals to be had on numerous games. You can use the code HOLIDAY18 to save an additional 20% off of your first order, and Walmart is offering free shipping on orders over $35.

Kohl's

Kohl's may not advertise itself as a premier source of discounted board and tabletop games, but there are some stellar deals hiding, if you're willing to dig around their website. Free shipping is available on orders over $25, and you can get an additional 15% off by using the promo code JOY. Note that the code may not work with all of the games listed here.

Role-Playing Games

Fear not, pen-and-paper aficionados, for there are sales on rulebooks and dice galore for you.

Miniatures and Models

If you're in the hunt for some new, highly detailed miniatures or models, here are some online storefronts to help bolster your collection.
  • Warsenal is taking 30% off the entire store, and offering free shipping in the US for orders above $150, and internationally for orders above $250
  • Flames of War is taking 40% off all Great War miniatures in honor of the 100th anniversary since the armistice
  • Knight Models is taking 20% off your order when you use the BLACKFRIDAY18 code at checkout
  • Wayland Games is running a wide-ranging sale on paints, models, and more
  • Raging Heroes has 50% off flash sales on selected miniatures, as well as a "buy 2 get 1 free" promotion running
  • If you're in need of terrain or building supplies, you can take 25% off your order at 4Ground with the code BLF2018

Accessories and Storage

If you're looking to store cards, miniatures, inserts, or more, there's a few independent retailers as well as some larger storage options on sale this year too. Of course, your own local game store may be running special store-only deals this weekend, and there's nothing like supporting small businesses. If there are any additional deals you've made use of or found, be sure to let us know in the comments below!
