Bayonetta and Dawn of War III Go Cheap as Easter Sales Heat Up

Pay attention bargain hunters. Your coupon codes are EASTER and EASTER5. Use them wisely. Use them well, because the PC gaming Easter sales are heating up. Two retailers are going at it in a price war with instant savings and stacking coupon codes. Between GMG and Bundle Stars, hundreds of PC gaming titles are on sale, and dozens of top titles are hitting new low prices.

Arguably the most impressive deal is in the Bundle Stars Easter Sale. While not the largest of the two sales, this week's release of Bayonetta is now instantly marked down to $16.99 and after coupon code EASTER5, knocks the game down further to only $16.14 - the best price online for the in-demand new launch (currently still #2 on the Steam global top seller list).

Also big at Bundle Stars is next month's upcoming release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. Rarely do pre-order games make seasonal sale lists, but this one is on there with $9 off instantly and down to $48.44 after coupon.

The competition to Bundle Star is Green Man Gaming's 2017 Easter Sale. This sale is massive and has dozens of new low prices on recent releases like Civilization VI, Dishonored 2, Resident Evil 7, and the elephant in the room Mass Effect: Andromeda. Though less than a month old, the new Mass Effect is now 32% off its list price. Albeit patched to address some of the issues, your call on whether or not 32% off is sufficient to check the game out.

The two Easter sales both end on the same date: April 18. The coupons do not work site-wide for all games that GMG and Bundle Stars offer, but they do cover the majority of titles on each site. This makes for great prices on upcoming titles and recent releases.
