Zelda Clue 2

A new Clue variant has been announced, in Zelda Clue. Officially licensed by Nintendo, and produced by USAopoly, it will be available at video game merchandise store Merchoid and other retailers, when it gets released later this year (the website states Zelda Clue will ship by June 30). The game has the same basic structure as the original Clue game, but with the objective being to discover how to defeat Ganondorf.

Zelda Clue is set up so that the objective, as opposed to discovering a killer, is to determine who has the power to defeat Ganondorf, where his lair is, and what weapon will defeat him (if it were set up like every other Zelda game the answer would always be Link, Master Sword, and Death Mountain). The product description reads:

In The Legend of Zelda Clue Game, the Dark Lord Ganondorf has stolen the Triforce and is threatening Hyrule with his evil plans to rule the world! In order to fulfill the prophecy and defeat Ganondorf, you must find out WHO possesses the power to defeat Ganondorf, WHAT item is required to defeat him, and WHERE he has established his hidden lair. Includes 6 Metal Hero Movers featuring Master Sword, Fairy Bow, Megaton Hammer, Boomerang, Hookshot, and Bombchu. Makes a great gift for fans of The Legend of Zelda video game series! Ages 8 and up. 3 to 6 Players.
The game comes packed with six personality cards (Link, Zelda, Impa, Nabooru, Rauru, and Darunia), six Metal Hero Movers (Master Sword, Megaton Hammer, Fairy Bow, Hookshot, Boomerang, and Bombchu), 16 boss encounter cards, two dice, custom game board, custom score pad and mystery envelope, and the instructions. All you need now is Zelda Monopoly and Zelda chess to have a regular old Hylian board game night.

Unfortunately, if you want to go through Merchoid you won't be able to get Zelda Clue outside of the US, but there are some sellers on Amazon (affiliate) who are shipping elsewhere. The game on Merchoid is set at $44.99 (including shipping) and is set to ship out June 30.
