YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World will be brought to PC and PlayStation 4 in 2019 by Spike Chunsoft as reported by Gematsu. The announcement was made at one of Spike Chunsoft's panels at Anime Expo 2018.

Originally released as an eroge for the PC-98 in 1996, YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World is a visual novel that features a protagonist traveling through multiple parallel worlds in a search for his missing parents. The game was eventually ported to the Sega Saturn and Windows. The console and Windows versions were still regarded as adult games, although the sex scenes had been stripped out of these versions.

The game had a bit of a revival in Japan with a remake for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2015 that saw release in March 2017 after several delays. A Switch and PC version was also announced and released by Japanese publisher 5PB. Spike Chunsoft has not yet stated whether or not the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will be making their way to Western markets.

Gameplay in YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World has a sort of meta aspect to it. Players navigate through alternate realities by the means of a "reflector" device which allows them to see a visualization of the game's branching story paths. The device requires crystals to be used, and players can see where the crystals are on the branches before they have even reached that point in the game. The jewels can be used to save at a point in the storyline and return to it later, giving players the option to explore different branches of the story and choose whichever one they most prefer.

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World will be heading to PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2019 complete with new art and voice acting for the Western release.
