Xenoblade Chronicles is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Notoriously hard to get a physical copy of in the West for the Wii, you’ll now be able to play it on the go if you wish! It comes out sometime next year.

There is no word at this time whether or not it will have new features or an updated visual design. With it coming out next year, we'll surely hear more about it in the future.

If you're unfamiliar with Xenoblade Chronicles, it's an action RPG that released for the Wii back in 2012. You control one person in your party of three in battle, which works close to how Final Fantasy XII does. It's real-time, where your other party members auto attack. You swing automatically and use abilities as you fight, similar to something like most MMORPGs.

Xenoblade Chronicles sees you take on the role of Shulk and his friends as they go on a quest for revenge against the Mechon, who attacked their home. Xenoblade Chronicles' world takes place on the bodies of two massive Titans who died in battle. So you're running around on the backs of these long-dead, powerful beings. The game gives you some good views of the two titans locked together in death.

If you're a fan of JRPGs in general, Xenoblade Chronicles may be something that you want to give a try. Plus, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 came out for the Switch back in 2017, so now you can play the two titles on one console. The only thing missing now is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Keep an eye out for news on that too.
