Xbox’ Major Nelson has revealed on his blog this morning the latest titles to become part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program.The first title on the list is Chariot, for the Xbox One. Chariot is an indie title from developers at Frima Studio. Releasing on September 30th on PlayStation 4 and October 1st on Xbox One, players will assume the role of a princess tasked with delivering her father’s remains to his final resting place through maze-like levels via a funeral chariot. Presumably, gamers with an Xbox Live Gold subscription will be able to download this title as soon as it launches on October 1st.
Gold members on the Xbox 360 this month will see two new titles added to their collections: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Darksiders II. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be available to download beginning on October 1st until the 15th, while the 16th will see the game replaced by Darksiders II, carrying the program through until November.
For those of you looking for PlayStation Plus titles for October, Sony is expected to announce those titles on Wednesday, October 1st, and they should become available on Tuesday, October 7th in North America.
