Xbox FanFest 2017 has gotten a new registration date after an issue with the registration site which allocated more tickets than Microsoft had intended according to DualShockers.

The overflow issue resulted in Microsoft having to reset all registrations a couple of days ago while they figured out the problem and brought everything back online. Xbox Senior Global Product Marketing Manager Chris Munson had promised that potential attendees would have plenty of fair warning to take a crack at getting tickets when the registrations were open again. They’ve kept that promise, and now that they have sorted out the issues with their registration system, potential attendees should be on standby for when registration re-opens on April 26 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time.

A new link for the registration portal will be generated at the exact time that it’s set to open; make sure you don’t try to go through the old one. Only 400 tickets will be available in total for the fan event running in parallel with E3, a long-running industry event that opened itself to the general public for the first time this year. Potential attendees who managed to sign up during the ill-fated first round (and subsequently had their registrations canceled) will be receiving an e-mail from Microsoft in the next few days regarding the issue.

Registration for Xbox FanFest 2017 will re-open on April 26, 2017, at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. Attendees must be over the age of 21, possess an Xbox Live free or Gold account with a GamerTag, and possess a valid, government-issued photo ID. A credit card will be required for verification purposes, although it won’t be charged as the event itself is free. Head on over to the event’s official website for more info.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
