WWE 2K18, the latest in a long line of wrestling games featuring the pros from World Wrestling Entertainment, is coming to Nintendo Switch today according to a news post on 2K’s website.

If you like seeing burly dudes get slammed through suspiciously-placed furniture, you now have another title available to add to your Nintendo Switch library. WWE 2K18 is rolling out worldwide digitally and in physical form. Players who pre-ordered the Switch version can get their hands on two playable versions of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle – his circa-2001 “American Hero” persona and his ECW “Wrestling Machine” persona (2006). Digital customers will be able to download this pack of two Angles through December 13, 2017.

WWE 2K18 boasts the largest roster in the history of the games, featuring wrestling personalities from the past & present. Of course, you’ll be able to create your own wrestler with the MyCAREER mode. Aside from setting stats and picking out a physical appearance, you’ll be able to explore backstage areas, forge alliances with other wrestlers, and get wrapped up in the occasional backstage brawl. You can create a custom video for your own personal superstar, and if that’s not enough for you, you can create your very own arena to boot.

Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play the game on TV or in handheld mode with up to four people in online and local multiplayer with up to six characters on screen at the same time. If you don’t own a Switch, you can get WWE 2K18 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC via Steam for $59.99 or your regional equivalent. Otherwise, you can grab it for the Nintendo Switch from Nintendo or at retailers everywhere.

What do you think of WWE 2K18 coming to the Nintendo Switch? How do you think the game stacks up against previous titles in the series? Let us know in the comments below!

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
