Fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had to exercise some patience these last few months while they were anticipating the second and final DLC for the game, but that wait is nearly over! Steam accidentally leaked the release date of the highly anticipated Blood and Wine DLC that adds a significant amount of gameplay to the already ridiculously lengthy game.

This news comes from Twitter user Wario64, who posted a couple of screenshots of the page on the Steam Store before Valve realized their mistake and took it down.

So, May 30 it is then! Wario64 also posted another screenshot detailing some of the things you can expect when the DLC comes out. Players will once again take up the two swords of Geralt of Rivia as he travels to the beautiful kingdom of Toussaint, a kingdom yet untouched by war and strife and modeled after a decidedly more high-fantasy version of feudal France. While there, you'll be investigating a string of strange and brutal murders as you try to predict who is next on the kill list.

The expansion, which reportedly adds about 20 hours of gameplay to the game, is roughly equal in size to No Man's Land, Novigrad or the Skellige islands combined. In addition to a bunch of new main and sidequests, you'll also be able to take a break from the monster slaying by kicking back in your very own private vineyard. If the seriousness of it all is still too much, you can enter in a grand tourney as you show the toffs how a real swordsman fights, or you can take on the various citizens in a Gwent match using your new deck themed after the Skellige islands.

Blood and Wine will also have a ton of new weapons and armor and you'll be able to dye your equipment to give it that color scheme you could never get in the base game.

So, mark your calendars for May 30!

I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
