NIS America has announced that The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is headed to North America and Europe sometime in 2018. Coming with a new Limited Edition, NIS America punctuated the announcement with the reveal that The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 will be exclusively on the PS4. Sorry, PC fans. The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 tells the tale of Kevala, a land wracked by a mysterious witch-transformation disease. As the titular Hundred Knight, you travel with two sisters: Amalie, a member of an organization that opposes witches; and Chelka, a witch who was born from Amalie's younger sister, Milm. Along the way, you're sure to encounter Weiss Ritter, a group dedicated to eradicating witches, which you can read more about here.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 also features gameplay similar to the original. An isometric camera follows you through the land as you chain deadly combos using five different weapon types, as you upgrade your abilities with "Tochkas" and "Facets." Facets allow players to change the appearance of the Hundred Knight, granting new abilities and stats. Tochkas, however, are minion abilities that can be used to solve environmental puzzles or make clearing enemies a breeze. One new feature in The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is the procedural map generation, which will ideally cut down on the repetition that the first game was so criticized for.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2's limited edition comes with a set of pins, an artbook, a two-disc soundtrack, a Hundred Knight-seeming stress ball, and the game itself. The limited edition will run $79.99 and can be pre-ordered over at NIS America's store. While there is no release date yet for the translated version of The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, based on the Japanese original's release date of late February, one might expect a similar release window here in the West.
