Rockstar Games dropped the second trailer for the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 recently. While the reveal trailer that came out last year only showed off the setting and tone of the game, this newest trailer let us know what we can expect from the game’s story.

Notably, this story trailer did not give a specific release date for Red Dead Redemption 2. The game was delayed to Spring 2018, and this newest trailer ended by showing that very same release window.

Perhaps the biggest piece of news one could gather from this trailer is the fact that it confirms that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to Red Dead Redemption. While this has been a rumor for quite some time now, we now know for certain that it is true.

We also know now that the main protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a man named Arthur Morgan.

According to IGN, Rockstar describes the game as “the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight, and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.”

Just because I write about video games doesn't mean I'm very good at them. Unless it's Smash Bros. I'll wreck you in Smash Bros. I am also currently obsessed with Overwatch, so I'll wreck you in that too with Mercy.
