What Remains of Edith Finch free for a two week period on the Epic Games Store starting on January 10, 2019. The game makes for the third title to be offered up to gamers at no cost as part of a program from the company to get new people on their platform.

The Epic Games Store is the new kid on the block and they're keen on getting people to sign up. Part of their plan is to give away a new game for a two week period throughout the first year. The next title in this program has been announced and pretty soon you'll be able to get What Remains of Edith Finch for free.

This particular game was certainly a favorite of some of us here. The Finch family appears to be cursed—every single member of the clan has met with an untimely demise, often with little to no explanation. You're aboard a ferry waiting to head out to your family's ancestral home and you only have the journal of Edith Finch to pass the time. The game then proceeds as you explore the family's history and all of the tragedy that befell them. This wonderful journey through time certainly makes for an interesting adventure that's worth exploring!

What Remains of Edith Finch will be free for two weeks on the Epic Games Store beginning on January 10, 2019. In the meantime, you can still grab Super Meat Boy for yourself at no cost until the games change over. Just pop on over to the Epic Games Store to get it!

What do you think of getting What Remains of Edith Finch free on the Epic Games Store? Do you think it makes for a good title for the platform to give away? What did you think of the game? Let us know in the comments below!
