Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

First up is the kickoff for Mantic GamesStar Saga: The Eiras Contract crowdfunding campaign. According to the company, the game hit its funding goal in about two hours. This campaign is a very simple one with just one $100 USD pledge tier for the general public getting you the entire game. There is currently one stated stretch goal at the $130,000 USD mark for additional scenery, with the eventual hints at more throughout the remaining 25 days of the crowdfunding campaign. The company has also released the alpha rules for the game along with a video playthrough of the second mission.

Corvus Belli has several new products out for release. The September releases were recently announced via the company Facebook page. This month sees the addition of the Yu-Jing Zhanshi, Troops of the Banner, the Nomad Taskmaster, the Combined Army Overdron Batroids, the ALEPH Garuda Tacbots, and the Krakot Renegades. The company also released a small number of officially licensed T-shirts currently available from the Corvus Belli web store. At the time of writing, there is no alternative option for people in North America wanting the new apparel.

Warlord Games has several releases and pre-orders available for both Bolt Action and Konflict ’47. The US Airborne parachute infantry plastic box set will build thirty miniatures in post D-Day uniforms with a large amount of weapon options to fit into your existing American force. For those of you who prefer more sci-fi with your WW2, there are plenty of options for Konflict ’47 arriving soon. The US Heavy Infantry, M4A9-T Sherman tank with Tesla cannon, and the German Pz IV-X Schwere Feldprojektor are available now.  The US Airborne unit will be available for purchase in October.

GCT Studios is continuing with their Bushido releases with the Tetsuo, the newest addition to the Jung Pirates. After spending nearly a lifetime on the seas, the Kami of the sea have transformed these sailors into mutated half-crab people who terrorize ships on the open waters. No release date for the new model has been set by the studio as of this writing.
