First up is Mantic Games’ recent announcement concerning the second season for their futuristic sports game Dreadball going up on Kickstarter. The next iteration of Dreadball features an improved rule set based on player feedback, two new teams (Draconis All-Stars and Ninth Moon Tree Sharks), and two Kickstarter exclusive coaches. The Kickstarter campaign has 12 days left and has blown past its $80,0900 USD funding goal, sitting at over $123,000 as of this writing.

Games Workshop announced pre-orders for both the Shattered Dominion Realm of Battle board and base sets. The board and bases are set amongst the war-torn ruins of the Mortal Realms and will make an excellent way to add a unique flair to your Warhammer: Age of Sigmar armies. The company also announced the release of several Start Collecting! boxes as well. The Ironjawz, Stormcast Eternals, Sylvaneth, Khorne Bloodbound, and Flesh-Eater Courts starter boxes will be available in stores on July 30th.

Both Games Workshop and Corvus Belli released FAQs for the General’s Handbook and Infinity respectively. The General’s Handbook FAQ covers a small amount of player related questions and a handful of corrections. The Infinity FAQ is a bit more in-depth, covering questions and issues brought up after the release of their recent Human Sphere expansion.

Steamforged Games now has several additional mascots available for their Guild Ball teams. Naja, Strongbox, Tentacles, and Truffles are now available for the Hunters, Union, Fisherman’s, and Butcher’s Guilds respectively. The miniatures are available in both resin and metal directly from the Guild Ball store and should be available in your FLGS soon.
