Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
Warlord Games recently announced their newest release for Konflick ’47 with the Soviet Daughters of the Motherland. An elite all-woman unit, the Daughters of the Motherland have currently only been used in missions with minimal anticipated causalities due to their experimental nature, but this may soon be changing as the Soviet march forward continues. The Daughters of the Motherland are currently available for purchase for $45 USD from either the Warlord Games web store or your FLGS.
Privateer Press has announced the newest release wave for Warmachine and Hordes. Fans of Warmachine will be getting Colbie Sterling, a Mercenary ‘jack marshal and captain of the Black River Irregulars. Hordes players will be looking forward to a pair of news warlocks with Horgle the Anvil for the Trollbloods and Una the Skyhunter for Circle Oroborus. Rounding out this release wave is Loki, a heavy warbeast fighting for the Circle as well. All models are currently available from the Privateer Press webstore and will be reaching stores soon.
Warcradle Studios has released their newest model render, this time featuring the Legendary version of Sircan Nura for the Holy Order of Man. According to the lore of Wild West Exodus, Sircan Nura is currently trying to push the Holy Order into taking more direct action against the Dark Council and their machinations regarding the various factions in the New World. As of this writing, there is currently no set release date for the model.
Steamforged Games has announced the next releases for their runaway tabletop sports game Guild Ball. The Morticians will be fielding Brainpan and Memory, a fearsome due focusing on quick passes and burst damage against opponents on the pitch. The Fisherman’s Guild will be getting Hag, a support powerhouse working to help her team nimbly navigate the field around their slower and clumsier opponents. Rounding out this release wave is Veteran Ox for the Butcher’s Guild. Sticking with his guild’s tried and true “your opponents can’t score any points if their legs are all broken” strategy, Veteran Ox is retribution on the pitch. All three models currently have a release date of March 10th per the Guild Ball web store.
And finally, Games Workshop has a rather small release wave this week compared to recent weeks. The Reikland Reavers team for Blood Bowl is now available for purchase separate from the Blood Bowl boxed set, along with the Reikland Reaver Ogre player as well to give your team some additional bashing power on the pitch. The company is also continuing their Vanguard releases with the Vanguard-Raptors, a trio of fast-moving ranged firepower accompanied by lightning-fast Aetherwings. This kit can build three models of Vanguard-Raptors equipped with either hurricane crossbows or longstrike crossbows, depending on what is needed for your army. All releases are currently available for pre-order with a release date of March 4th.
