Watch Dogs Legion is reportedly the next game in the Watch Dogs franchise. A store listing on the UK version of Amazon has popped up on the Internet and was posted onto Twitter, giving us our first look at what may very well be Watch Dogs 3. If this leak is genuine, the odds are strong that we'll be seeing the reveal of the next game in the Watch Dogs franchise at E3 2019.

Have a gander at this Tweet from @Wario64 on Twitter that describes the hotly-anticipated Watch Dogs 3:

The first game in the franchise was a respectable open-world title as shown in our review. It had its fair share of problems, but the sequel thankfully stepped things up a notch and perfected many of the underlying systems. Now, it seems that we're going to be seeing these game systems in action in an entirely new take for what is essentially Watch Dogs 3.

For those of you who would just prefer the text, here are the relevant bits of information direct from the screenshots:

Watch Dogs Legion - About the Product

Play as anyone. Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits, and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems.

Watch Dogs 3 - Product Description

Watch Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It's a post-Brexit world in which society, politics, and technology have changed and altered London's fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture fur centuries... London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest [surveillance] levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

At the moment, the Amazon listing only covers the PlayStation 4 version of this reported game. Presumably, it would also be making its way to the Xbox One and PC (via Uplay) at the minimum.

Notably, much of the product description text seems a little rough. A lack of images, a spelling error, and what is probably draft writing appear evident, meaning that this likely wasn't supposed to go live when it did.

As with all rumors and leaks, we can't say with 100% certainty that Watch Dogs Legion is going to be the next game from Ubisoft. However, the timing seems right and E3 2019 is just around the corner, and Kotaku's Jason Schrier has also indicated that he's heard the name and information around.. We're sure to find out the truth for certain in just a few days. For now, keep your eye on TechRaptor for all of your E3 2019 coverage!
