If you haven’t had the chance to play Watch Dogs, you can grab a copy for yourself completely for free on UPlay according to a tweet from Ubisoft’s official Twitter account.

Watch Dogs tells the tale of one Aiden Pierce, a vigilante hacker known as The Fox as he travels through Chicago in a quest for vengeance against those who wronged him and his family. The Chicago of the future is rife with technological integration, the most prominent of which is the Central Operating System that watches over the city. Fortunately for Aiden, his skills (and his smartphone) allow him to plug into the system and twist its interconnectivity to his advantage.

If you’d like to grab a copy of the game for yourself, you only need to head on over to this page on Ubisoft’s website, log in with your account credentials, and accept the copy of Watch Dogs. If you don’t yet have an Uplay account, you can create one right then and there and get the game gratis nonetheless. After logging in and a couple of clicks, it’s in your account and will remain there permanently to enjoy at your leisure.

Watch Dogs will be available for free on Ubisoft’s digital download service until November 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. You can check out our review of the game here. (and you might want to take a peek at what we thought of the game’s sequel Watch Dogs 2.) If you’d prefer to get the game on another platform, you can get it on Steam or the Humble Store for $29.99 or your regional equivalent.

What do you think of Ubisoft giving away Watch Dogs for free on UPlay? Have you had the chance to play the game or its sequel? Which digital download service do you prefer to play your games on? Let us know in the comments below!
