This year has been on a roll in terms of Video Game releases, with some huge games coming out last month. March shows no sign of slowing down as many more quality games are coming out. See which ones you are looking forward to picking up.

March 1st

Mulaka (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

3D Action Adventure game Mulaka which came out for PlayStation 4 and Windows at the end of last month, comes to Nintendo Switch on March 1st and Xbox One March 2nd. Combining environmental puzzle solving and combat, Mulaka takes place in some of Northern Mexico’s loveliest landscapes.

March 2nd

Pit People (Microsoft Windows, Xbox One)

After being in Early Access for almost a year, Pit People finally sees it’s full release on Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on March 2nd. In this cutesy strategy RPG you can play with both local and online co-op.

March 6th

Fear Effect Sedna (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

Published by Square Enix Fear Effect Sedna comes out on Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on March 6th. This strategy game is the newest entry in the long dormant Fear Effect series.

Way of the Passive Fist (Linux, Mac OS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The arcade style brawler Way of the Passive Fist comes to Linux, Mac OS, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on March 6th and a day later on March 7th to Xbox One. In a mix up to traditional brawlers in Way of the Passive Fist you don’t attack at all, rather you defend until your opponent wastes all of their energy.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Coming out on Microsoft Windows later this month on March 27th, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge comes out first on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 6th. This is a simulation game of the world’s longest motorbike race track.

Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition/Windows Edition (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The Royal Edition

On March 6th Final Fantasy XV comes to PC with Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, and also gets a large update on consoles with Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition. New features coming to the game include a new dungeon called Insomnia City Ruins, first person mode, new gear, new bosses, Armiger mode, a new boat vehicle, and all season pass content.

Bravo Team (PlayStation VR)

Bravo Team a new first person shooter for PlayStation VR is also set to be released on March 6th. This is a cover based shooter, based on a fictional city in Eastern Europe.

 

March 7th

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash (Microsoft Windows)

First coming out for PlayStation 4 in September of last year, Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash comes to Microsoft Windows on March 7th. In this third person shooter, you create a team of 5 beach babes to have an all out water gun war.

March 8th

Steredenn: Binary Stars (Nintendo Switch)

A mix of shmup and rogue-like Steredenn: Binary Stars comes to Nintendo Switch on March 8th. It boasts unforgiving gameplay and intense boss battles, with solo and co-op play.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger (Microsoft Windows)

The latest update to Hearts of Iron IV

An expansion pack to the fourth in the Hearts of Iron series, Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger comes out on Microsoft Windows on March 8th. The expansion takes place in China fighting off imperialist Japan during the Second World War.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Microsoft Windows)

Coming out later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will come initially to Microsoft Windows on March 8th. The sequel to Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, play with up to 3 players defending your base in this first person action game.

March 9th

Scribblenauts Showdown (PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

The latest Scribblenauts game Scribblenauts Showdown comes to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on March 9th. Up to 4 players can play a range of different mini games in this new party game pack.

March 12th

Time Carnage (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift)

Coming to PlayStation VR in April, Time Carnage comes out first for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on March 12th. You play as a trophy hunter traveling through time to collect zombies, robots, monsters, and dinosaurs.

March 13th

Pure Farming 2018 (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The latest farming simulator Pure Farming 2018 comes to Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 13th. You can grow cereals, fruits and vegetables, as well as breed and farm cattle, chickens, and pigs.

Ghost of a Tale (Microsoft Windows)

Coming first to Microsoft Windows on March 13th Ghost of a Tale will be releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. Developed by a single indie developer, Ghost of a Tale follows a small mouse on a perilous journey.

Beast Quest (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Beast Quest comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 13th. In this action-adventure RPG you fight powerful creatures in a fantasy setting based on the book series of the same name.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole (Nintendo Switch)

The second in South Park’s series of RPGs South Park: The Fractured But Whole comes to Nintendo Switch on March 13th. Coming out in October last year in the latest game you play as your own South Park original character on a super hero themed quest. You can read our review of it here.

Q.U.B.E. 2 (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

A sequel to the original Q.U.B.E, Q.U.B.E 2 comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 13th. In this first person puzzle game you play as a stranded archaeologist trying to get home.

Devil May Cry HD Collection (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

17 years after the release of the original game, Devil May Cry HD Collection comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 13th. This collection will include the original 3 Devil May Cry games remastered for HD.

Golem (PlayStation VR)

From the studio founded by former Bungie composer Marty O’Donnell, PlayStation VR title Golem comes out on March 13th. You play as a character controlling different huge stone Golems. Strangely for a VR game it plays out in 3rd person instead of 1st.

The Raven Remastered  (Microsoft Windows, Xbox One)

With the original coming out in 2013 The Raven Remastered comes to Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on March 13th, with the Switch and PlayStation 4 versions slated for later this year. You play as a constable on the trail of a master thief known as The Raven.

The 25th Ward: The Silver Case (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4)

A sequel to one of Suda 51’s first games The 25th Ward: The Silver Case is set to be released on Windows and PlayStation 4 on March 13th. This adventure based visual novel is based 5 years after the events of the original The Silver Case game.

Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of The Pharaohs (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The second DLC pack to accompany Assassin’s Creed OriginsThe Curse of the Pharaohs comes out on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 13th. This expansion is based on the mythology of ancient Egypt. The expansion comes with a higher player cap and new skills.

March 14th

The Long Reach (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita)

Indie gem The Long Reach releases for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita on March 14th and on Nintendo Switch on March 15th. Taking inspiration from Lone Survivor and The Cave, in this pixel art adventure game you play in a modern day world.

March 15th

 

Surviving Mars (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Surviving Mars comes out on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 15th. In this simulation strategy game you lead a team attempting to colonize Mars.

March 16th

Kirby Star Allies (Nintendo Switch)

The latest in the main line Kirby series Kirby Star Allies comes to Nintendo Switch on March 16th. In the latest in the series you can befriend up to three enemies to play in a team of 4. It also comes with local co-op.

Burnout Paradise Remastered (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Slated to come out on PC later this year Burnout Paradise Remastered comes first to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 16th. This is a remastering of the original from 2009, and claims to be upgraded to work with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

March 20th

Attack on Titan 2 (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

A sequel to the original Attack on TitanAttack on Titan 2 comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on March 20th. Building on the fast paced gameplay of the original, you fight against fearsome titans who threaten humanity.

Titan Quest (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Originally coming out on Windows back in 2006, Titan Quest comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 20th, with an announcement for a Switch version to be released later this year. This top down, hack and slash RPG can be played in both single and multi player.

Apex Construct (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift)

It came out on PlayStation VR last month but Apex Construct comes to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on March 20th. As the last human alive you must survive as synthetic creatures rule the land following mankind’s failed experiments.

Sea Of Thieves (Microsoft Windows, Xbox One)

It has been in open Beta for a while but Sea of Thieves finally gets its full release on Windows and Xbox One on March 20th. Developed by Rare you play as a pirate taking over the open seas in this open world online sand box game.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Released originally back in 2014 a remastered version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue comes to PlayStation and Xbox One on March 20th. This title in the long running Assassin’s Creed series takes places in 18th century North America.

March 21st

Dream Alone (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS)

Cute Indie game Dream Alone comes to Windows and Mac OS on March 21st. A 2D platformer with classic platforming gameplay, it combines horror elements with a dark story line. It will come to Switch and Xbox One later this year.

March 22nd

Ark Park (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR)

A VR spin-off of Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark Park will launch on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR on March 22nd. Here you’ll explore a park, raise dinosaurs, and fight off rampaging hoards of angry dinos.

Pizza Connection 3 (Microsoft Windows)

Coming out on Microsoft Windows on March 22nd is Pizza Connection 3. The latest in the long running Pizza Connection series, in this strategy game you play as a business manager of your own pizza empire.

March 23rd

A Way Out (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Detective Pikachu (Nintendo 3DS)

Coming out for the first time physically on Nintendo 3DS Detective Pikachu comes out on March 23rd. You work with a Detective Pikachu trying to solve various crimes.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4)

Sequel to Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch which released 8 years ago, and delayed from January, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom comes to Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation 4 on March 23rd. This all new RPG takes place in the Ni No Kuni world with all new characters.

March 27th

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings (Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch)

Coming out originally on PlayStation 4 on this day back in 2017, Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings comes to Windows on Switch on March 27th. You follow twins Lydie and Suelle who are alchemists alongside their father.

MX vs ATV All Out (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

All new bike based racing game MX vs ATV All Out comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 27th. In this racing game you can choose between bikes, ATVs and UTVs to race in.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Linux)

After 4 years in Early Access the spiritual successor to the Ultima series Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues gets its full release on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux on March 27th. Here you experience freedom and exploration in a fantasy setting.

Far Cry 5 (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

One of the biggest releases of the month Far Cry 5 comes to Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 27th. The latest in the Far Cry series this time the FPS series takes place in the American South.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 (PlayStation 4)

A new RPG by Nippon Ichi Software The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 comes to PlayStation 4 on March 27th. Follow the Hundred Knight on its journey through a world of witches. Young girls are contracting a strange illness and awakening as witches, causing mayhem across Kevala.

March 30th

State of Mind (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

Futuristic thriller State of Mind comes to Mircosoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on March 30th. Set in a dystopian future State of Mind explores themes of transhumanism.

Agony (Microsoft Windows)

Coming first to Microsoft Windows on March 30th, Agony is also expected on Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year. In this first person survival horror game you play as a lost soul in the depths of hell.

Code Realize: Bouquet of Rainbows/ Future Blessings (PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita)

Two versions of the latest in the Code Realize series Code Realize: Bouquet of Rainbows launches for PlayStation 4 and Code Realize Future Blessings for PlayStation Vita on March 30th. In this otome game you can date handsome men throughout history.
