After a little bit of a gaming lull in January, February fights back with some big hitters and simply a HUGE amount of game. Here is a list of all video game releases for February 2018 across all platforms. If we have missed any out feel free to comment below.

February 1st

Unforeseen Incidents (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Linux)

Unique art style

Point and Click adventure game Unforeseen Incidents comes to Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux on February 1st. In this indie adventure game with a very unique art style, you play as Harper Pendrell, a man living in a world over come with a terrible, fatal disease. He is tasked with warning Yelltown survivors “they are coming.”

Her Majesty’s SPIFFING (Nintendo Switch)

Originally coming out on all other platforms back in 2016, Her Majesty’s SPIFFING comes to Nintendo Switch on February 1st. As the UK falls into ruin, the Queen sends out a team of specialists looking for new planets to create a galactic British Empire.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (Microsoft Windows)

Coming out on PlayStation 4 last year, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age comes to Microsoft Windows on February 1st. This is a HD remaster of the original Final Fantasy XII which came out in 2006 on PlayStation 2.

February 2nd

EA Sports UFC 3 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Releasing simultaneously on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, EA Sports UFC 3 comes out on February 2nd. In this all new fighting game from EA you can play as either a male or female fighter, with moves created by using motion capture technology.

 

February 6th

Shadow of the Colossus (PlayStation 4)

Remaster number 2

Following the remaster for PlayStation 3, a total remake of Team Ico’s classic game Shadow of the Colossus comes to PlayStation 4 on February 6th. This is the first time that it will come to the current generation of consoles.

Marooners (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Coming to Microsoft Windows back in 2016, Marooners will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 6th. Play against up to 4 friends in a series of mini games where you furiously battle against each other to come out on top.

BlackHole: Complete Edition (PlayStation 4)

Following the original release back on Microsoft Windows in 2015, and a follow up release on Xbox One last year, the complete edition of BlackHole will come to PlayStation 4 on February 6th. Try to become the heroes of Earth by shutting down a black hole.

February 7th

Treasure Adventure World (Microsoft Windows)

The up and coming indie game Treasure Adventure World comes to Microsoft Windows on February 7th. In this beautiful 2D action platformer, you use the boat in your pocket to sail across new seas and explore undiscovered lands.

February 8th

Rust (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Linux)

The survival game which has spent 4 years in early access, Rust, comes to Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux on February 8th. Originally this started out as a clone of DayZ, but has since become its own thing as zombies are replaced with bears and wolves.

Disc Jam (Nintendo Switch)

Releasing for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 last March, Disc Jam comes to Nintendo Switch on February 8th. This sports game combines air hockey with tennis, in sports game reminiscent of Windjammers but in the third person perspective.

Little Triangle (Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

Another action platformer Little Triangle comes to Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on February 8th. This cute action game where you play as a triangle, of course, aims to be a party game anyone can pick up. It also has a Battle Royale mode, because what doesn’t these days.

Civilization VI: Rise and Fall (Microsoft Windows)

What an expansion

The first major expansion to Civilization VI, named Civilization VI: Rise and Fall comes to Microsoft Windows on February 8th. It claims to offer a ton of new content including; nine new leaders, eight new civilizations, eight new wonders of the world, seven natural wonders, four new units, two new tile improvements, fourteen new buildings, three new resources, two new districts and Historic Moments that mark significant milestones.

Planetoid Pioneers (Microsoft Windows)

It has been in Early Access since 2016 and finally Planetoid Pioneers will make its way to Microsoft Windows on February 8th. Inspired by classic games like Blaster Master and Exile, Planetoid Pioneers uses user generated content to fill out its 2D physics based, action adventure game.

February 9th

Dragon Quest Builders (Nintendo Switch)

Following a number of ports coming to the Nintendo Switch, Dragon Quest Builders sees itself join the line up on February 9th. It’s essentially Minecraft but with all the characters from Dragon Quest and a little Animal Crossing thrown in for good measure.

Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st] (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita)

After coming out in 2016 on Microsoft Windows, Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [st] comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and, shockingly, PlayStation 3 on February 9th. The console release of this 2D fighting game features 2 new playable characters, new Tutorials, and Mission Modes.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia (PlayStation 4)

After being delayed from January, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia arrives on PlayStation 4 on February 9th. The game is the first adaption of the anime series of the same name. In this action adventure title you can play in single player or two player in both local and online co-op modes. The title promises fast paced action sequences similar to those featured in the anime.

Bleed 2 (Xbox One)

Following its release on Mac OS, Linux and Microsoft Windows last year, Bleed 2 sees its release on Xbox One on February 9th. This 2D indie run and gun, is the sequel to the original Bleed, and features fast paced action platforming. It was released via Play Asia in limited numbers for PlayStation 4 in January.

February 13th

Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS)

It’s been a long time coming to fans but finally Kingdom Come: Deliverance comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux on February 13th. This first person open world RPG is set in medieval Europe comes from the mind of Daniel Vávra the guy responsible for the Mafia series. You can read our impressions here.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound (Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

Following up on the original game which was released way back in 2014, The Fall Part 2: Unbound releases on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on February 13th. In this indie action adventure game you play as an AI ejected from your body attempting to invade and control others in order to survive.

Owlboy (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

Following its successful release on Steam in 2016 indie darling Owlboy comes to all home consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on February 13th. Owlboy  is a 2D platformer the titular owl struggles to live up to the expectations of owlhood.

The Longest 5 Minutes (PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows)

An all new RPG The Longest 5 Minutes comes to PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows on February 13th. This Japanese made pixel RPG switches things up by starting you off with the final boss. Can you survive?

Monster Energy Supercross (Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Monster, the energy drink company, has brought Supercross to Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with Monster Energy Supercross – The Video Game on February 13th. Race official riders on official tracks including Daytona.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology (Nintendo 3DS)

The 3DS remaster of 2011s Radiant Historia for DS, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology comes to North America on February 13th. It’s a JRPG developed by Atlus using some of the staff from the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Dynasty Warriors 9 (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The latest in the Dynasty Warriors series, Dynasty Warriors 9 makes its way to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 13th. On the 15th anniversary of the series Dynasty Warriors 9 claims to change up the series with new features and an open world format.

Crossing Souls (PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows)

Releasing first on PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows is 80’s inspired action adventure game Crossing Souls, which comes out February 13th. 80s style animation in the cut scenes and 80s style pixel art in the main gameplay this game is crazy for the 80s. It’s coming to Mac OS, Linux and PlayStation Vita at a later date. You can read our impressions here.

February 15th

Secret of Mana (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita)

Originally released all the way back in 1993, JRPG classic Secret of Mana comes to modern consoles Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita, as well as Microsoft Windows on February 15th. Originally developed by Square (now Square Enix) this is the second in the Seiken Densetsu series.

February 16th

Fe (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

An all new EA indie title Fe comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on February 16th. You play as a strange cub developing his relationship with nature through song, in this narrative experience.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 (Nintendo Switch)

One of the best witches in video games is coming to this era of consoles as both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 come to Nintendo Switch on February 16th. In this third person action adventure you play as the titular witch Bayonetta as you take down angels and gods. The third in the series is currently in development.

 

February 20th

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (Microsoft Windows)

An updated version of classic strategy game Age of Empires, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition comes to Microsoft Windows on February 20th. This version supports 4k brings a whole new narrative, and includes the Rise of Rome expansion.

Apex Construct (PlayStation VR)

An all new game for PlayStation VR, Apex Construct, arrives on February 20th. As the last human alive you must survive as synthetic creatures rule the land following mankind’s failed experiments.

Discovery Tour by Assassins Creed: Ancient Egypt (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Discovery Tour by Assassins Creed: Ancient Egypt comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 20th. In this historians will guide you around the Assassin’s Creed version of Ancient Egypt. It’s a free update if you already own Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The Station (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Space exploration game The Station comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on February 20th. In this first person game, you must unravel the mystery which decides the fate between two different civilizations.

Metal Gear Survive (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

In Konami’s first attempt to continue the Metal Gear series post Kojima, Metal Gear Survive comes to Microsoft Windows,  Playstation 4 and Xbox One on February 20th. This is a direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. You can read our hands on impressions here.

February 21st

Rad Rodgers: World One (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Coming out last December on PC Rad Rodgers: World One comes to consoles on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 after being delayed in January, to February 21st. In this 90’s inspired platformer, you play as a boy who is sucked into his video game world after a long night of gaming. You will run and gun your way through 7 action packed and hard-core stages.

February 22nd

Pac-man: Championship Edition 2 (Nintendo Switch)

Originally released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows back in 2016, Pac-man: Championship Edition 2 comes to Nintendo Switch on February 22nd. It’s Pac-man but now it’s portable. Waka Waka.

February 23rd

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The latest in the series of Sword Art games Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This MMO RPG has a whole new story set in the Sword Art Online world.

Past Cure (PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One)

Coming out on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, action game Past Cure releases February 23rd. In this third-person sci-fi adventure you try to figure out the mystery behind your strange condition.

February 27th

Gravel (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Gravel comes to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 27th. This is an off road racing game where you can race a variety of different trucks in a variety of different modes.

de Blob 2 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Originally released for Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 de Blob 2 comes to modern console on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 27th. You play as a blob fighting back against a world being drained of color.

Payday 2 (Nintendo Switch)

Originally coming out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in 2015, but with a continuing online community Payday 2 comes to Nintendo Switch on February 27th. Go on heists in this first person shooter.

February 28th

RiftStar Raiders (Xbox One)

Coming first to Xbox One, but expected to come to PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch later this year Riftstar Raiders releases on February 28th. In this shoot em up you can play with up to 4 players in co-op modes.
