As reported by Gemastu, today Namco Bandai announced (in Japanese) that the character Amy will come Soulcalibur 6 as the second DLC character of the game's season pass and the third to the game overall. She was announced alongside sixty character creation parts, that allow players to further customize their 'Create a Soul' characters as a separate Soulcalibur 6 DLC. The Creation Parts Set Soulcalibur 6 DLC will drop February 19th (and is also part of the Season Pass), though no date was given for Amy's arrival. You can see more of the upcoming addition to Soulcalibur below in a trailer posted by the Namco Bandai of Japan.

Originally hailing from the Soulcalibur 3, and last appearing as a playable character in the fourth game in the series, Amy is the adopted daughter of veteran fighter Raphael. Looking to give the girl a better life, Raphael lifted Amy from poverty and trained her in the art of combat. Though Soulcalibur 6 is something of a reboot of the storied franchise, taking the events of the Soulcalibur 1 and 2 and remixing them with new characters and plot threads, Amy's background remains much the same.

Much like her past incarnations, in Soulcalibur 6 Amy fights with a rapier, the same weapon her father uses in all of his incarnations. Though unlike the person she draws inspiration from, Amy also uses her small size and quick reflexes to run circles around foes and find openings to strike.

As previously mentioned Amy is the third DLC character to arrive on Soulcalibur 6's stage of history. With the first being Tira, who was offered as a pre-order bonus (and season pass bonus) and later as paid DLC, the second 2B, the main character from popular action game Nier: Automata, and the fourth a final unrevealed character will also be part of the game's season pass. Amy will also launch alongside her own Chronicles of Soul story, which will tell the tale of her role in the game's story and expand upon information given in other parts of the game.

Soulcalibur 6 was launched for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC last October, and are on sale at lower prices on Gamesplanet and Amazon if you've been waiting to pick up the game under $40. You can read more about the game in our review.
