As fans wait for more information on the announced Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, players of the series might be happy to learn that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be coming digitally to the Xbox One and PC March 7th.

Capcom has announced that the over the top fighting game, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is being released for the Xbox One and Steam for $24.99.

Additionally, even though the game has been available digitally on the PS4 since December 3, Capcom have also announced a physical version of the game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This physical release will include a new 10-page comic. The comic will feature art from Marvels Gerardo Sandoval and Sean Chen. The physical release is set to be priced at $29.99.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was first released in late 2011, but in 2013 was pulled from digital stores. It was an updated version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 which had released in early 2011. It is worth noting though, that this is the first time the game will be available to PC players.

With the next game in the series, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite set to come out later this year in 2017, these re-releases on PC and next gen consoles could maybe fill the gap whilst fans of the series are stuck waiting.

The official announcement from Capcom can be read here on their site. As new info for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is revealed we will be sure to let you know as soon as it happens.
