Tom Clancy's Elite Squad

Ubisoft announced a surprise mobile game that blends characters from many of their other titles including Sam Fisher from Splinter CellTom Clancy's Elite Squad blends together a variety of classic Tom Clancy franchises into a new mobile experience.

A news post on Ubisoft's website has some more details about Tom Clancy's Elite Squad. This game brings together characters from Tom Clancy's Spinter CellTom Clancy's Ghost ReconTom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and Tom Clancy's The Division. (I'm sensing a theme here.) Essentially, this game mashes together characters from all of these classic games (which also happen to be developed by Ubisoft) into one exciting crossover experience.

This might seem like a strategy game of sorts, but the battles in Elite Squad take place in real time. Players will go head to head in 5-on-5 battles featuring some of the toughest and meanest soldiers on the planet. Tom Clancy fans can play as Sam Fisher, Montagne, Caveira, Nomad, El Sueño, and who knows how many other characters from this wonderful universe of military thrillers.

You can watch the Tom Clancy's Elite Squad trailer below to get a sense of what this game is going to be like. No release date has been announced, but we do know that this will be a free-to-play title that will launch on iOS and Android. Pre-register for Elite Squad at elitesquadgame.com and be one of the first to receive the new Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint character Walker.
