At this year's E3 Press Conference, Ubisoft announced the next season for Rainbow Six Siege, as well as two new operatives: Nokk and Warden.

The new season, which starts tomorrow, June 11, will be called Operation Phantom Sight and will feature new in-game events and some quality of life improvements, such as an improved Reverse Friendly Fire system and a smoother in-game storefront. Phantom Sight also brings a total rework of the of Kafe, which now boasts a redesigned first floor and a new bombsite on the second floor. The biggest news, however, is the inclusion of two new operatives Nokk and Warden.

Warden received some special attention during the conference's trailer. He gives off a 007/Kingsman-like vibe with his perfect suit and handgun. Though the trailer did not go into huge detail on Warden's arsenal, Ubisoft later detailed the two operatives' skill sets in a press release.

Warden, the new Defender, uses the Glance Smart Glasses gadget that can prevent him from being blinded by flash effects, cleanse an existing flash blindness and gain visibility through smoke. As long as he remains stationary, he can quickly turn a disadvantageous situation to his favor by activating his glasses, catching the approaching Attackers off guard.

Nøkk is the new Attacker that can activate the HEL Presence Reduction gadget. Drones, Bulletproof Cameras, Evil Eyes and other observation tools will thus be unable to register Nøkk’s presence as she roams through the map, unseen. Her footsteps will be silenced as she stalks opposing Operators, unheard.

Operation Phantom Sight goes live tomorrow, June 11th. Hopefully, this new season can satiate players who are now looking forward to the recently-announced Rainbow Six Quarantine.
