South Park HEader

South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the sequel to one of the most memorable games of the past generation, has just been debuted at Ubisoft's E3 conference with a short trailer that shows off the premise of the game. As you may expect from anything related to South Park, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a very tongue in cheek spin on the recent popularization of comic book superhero movies, albeit with the usual lewdness that you can expect from the not-so-lovable boys of South Park.

Fans of South Park: The Stick of Truth will likely be familiar with The Fractured But Whole's gameplay, which is effectively a lighter version of turn based RPGs, but as evidenced by The Fractured But Whole's trailer, all of your party members' moves will be influenced by some of the more popular comic book superheroes (i.e. The Flash, Thor, etc.). Unlike more traditional turn based RPGs though, there are some decidedly less than heroic places that your party can visit, such as South Park's local strip club.

Things aren't all fun and games in The Fractured But Whole however, as the kids of South Park have been divided into two separate groups of rival heroes, Coon and Friends and the Freedom Pals, with suspected traitors on both sides of the conflict setting the groups against one another, and you're caught in the middle as the New Kid.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be released on October 17, 2017 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
