Fans of the Pokemon franchise have even more to look forward to as The Pokemon Company has announced that two Game Boy Color Pokemon games are going to be coming to the Nintendo 3DS very shortly. Not any of the main franchise games but Pokemon Puzzle League, a match three style puzzle game, and Pokemon Trading Card game, based upon the real life trading cards.

These games will be available to 3DS owners digitally very shortly with Pokemon Puzzle Challenge being released on the 6th of November and the Pokemon Trading Card Game will be available on November 13th.

In Pokemon Puzzle League your goal is to fight your way through the Gym leaders using three Pokemon but instead of fighting in the usual turn based system you will have to move puzzle blocks from left to right in an effort to create as many matches of three or more. The more you chain together the more blocks you are able to send at your opponent in an effort to fill up their screen. In Pokemon Trading Card Game you are a new Pokemon Trading Card player who sets off with a beginner deck with the ambition of going to each of the Trading Card gyms and winning a medallion off each of the leaders to face the best four Pokemon Trading Card Game players and attempt to earn the four legendary cards.

One big feature of the release of these games is if you purchase them then you will also receive a code for the limited demo of upcoming Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire which is releasing on the 21st of November for North American fans and the 28th for fans in Europe.

Will you be picking up either of these games? or are you just looking forward to the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?
