There will be two new Team17 game announcements next week. As we're heading into the intensity of E3, we've entered a strange universe where it's sensible to announce that you're going to announce something later. Team17 will be showing off not one but two brand-new titles — and they've provided a cryptic clue for gamers to decipher.
Team17 is a developer and publisher that has a few dozen titles under their belt so far. Among their developed and/or published works are The Escapists (and the seventeen or so other editions of the game), My Time at Portia, Overcooked, and a whole bunch more. Their list of published titles is set to expand next week with two new Team17 game announcements according to a news post on the company's official website.
The fine folks at Team17 are being a bit cheeky about the identity of these games, but they have helpfully provided a clue in the form of this image:
Now, I've stared at this thing until I went cross-eyed and I've come up shorter than Danny Devito in a ditch. You might have better luck than I, and there's a sweet prize in it if you can figure it out. Team17 implores the Sherlock Holmes types out there to shoot their guesses over to the company's Twitter account.
