Tropical Wars - Preview

Vertige, a French indie developer, partnered up with Tilting Point, publisher of Clash Royale, to announce the release of Tropical Wars on the App Store and the Google Play store. Tropical Wars is a strategy game where you get to take part in naval battles in real time.

During the game you get to lead a band of cut throat pirates, who also happen to all be koalas. You will construct warships, build up an island base, and lead all your troops into battle. You will have to learn what each of your ships is best at doing as you strategically place them around the battlefield. The more you play the more you are able to upgrade your battle ships to then be able to take on even more powerful foes. There is a full single-player campaign that you can use to learn the ropes and become the deadliest koala pirate that you can be. Early mission Rewards

While this game is free there are also in app purchases allowing you to get the added benefits of speeding up construction of your units, purchasing more workers, avoiding their fatigue and similar minor convenience features this premium currency also can be earned through the completion of missions.

You won't be playing against yourself though as Tropical Wars allows you to play against other people across the world. If you have friends that are also playing Tropical Wars then you're able to all join up into a single powerful pirate guild. There is however for those who wish to focus on a more solitary experience a campaign set of missions.

Tropical Wars is now available for free via the iOS App Store and the Google Play store. If you want to learn more about the game though then you can check out their official website or visit them on Facebook or Twitter
