Developer Two Tribes has announced that egg collecting puzzle game Toki Tori is coming to Nintendo Switch this month. The game will release on March 30 and bring with it HD Rumble support and a rewind time feature. Toki Tori on Switch will come packed with 80+ levels spread over 5 unique worlds which players will have to conquer. This release follows that of its sequel, Toki Tori 2 which came to Nintendo Switch earlier this year. The game has previously released on 3DS, Wii U, and Game Boy Colour, meaning it will be right at home on Nintendo's latest hardware.
The game will run at 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch and make use of the console's video-capture capabilities. There will be a 10% eShop discount applied for those who pre-ordered when the game launches, with pre-orders now available via the Nintendo eShop. At launch, the game will cost $4.99.
Toki Tori sees players guiding the titular bird-brained hero through a series of puzzles which require problem-solving and use of the game's several different abilities to beat. Toki Tori is an unlikely gaming hero, given his inability to jump, meaning he must instead rely on an array of clever tools to progress through each stage. There's the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock™ at the player's disposal, helping them achieve their goal of collecting all of the eggs on each stage.
