Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week. Apologies for the delays; family issues have been taking up more time than I originally anticipated.

Steamforged Games launched their Kickstarter campaign for their newest miniature game Godtear, which was fully funded within 15 minutes of launching. The game has several unique features, such as being completely factionless. Each player can mix and match the available Champions and Followers to suit their particular play style. The game will also have a strong narrative aspect as well as being built from the ground up as a game suited for competitive play. The crowdfunding campaign is currently as over $277,000 USD with 16 days remaining.

The latest batch of pre-orders from Warcradle Studios is now available for purchase either directly from their web store or one of the many stores now carrying the game. The Red Oak terrain set is expanding with the addition of a Distillery, Prospector’s Shack, and a set of scatter terrain with the Crates, Fences, and Barrels. This release wave also contains brand new resin base toppers, making basing models quick and easy. Rounding out the releases this month is the Angry Mob unit, a strategic unit meant to provide a distraction to your opponent’s forces.

Privateer Press has announced their upcoming Warmachine releases for April, which has a distinctly piratical theme. This release wave contains Axiara Wraithblade solo, Blighted Trollkin Marauders unit, Scharde Dirge Seers unit, Severa Blacktide solo, Black Ogrun Belchers unit, Misery Cage solo, and Scharde Pirates unit. All Cryx units aside from the Misery Cage and Scharde Pirates have a release date of April 20th, while the remaining two will be available on April 27th. Prices range anywhere from $12.99 USD to $89.99 USD; check your local FLGS for actual store pricing.

The company also announced the inaugural First Shot organized play event, coming in May. First Shot is an event designed for families and younger potential players interested in learning from a more experienced mentor. The players will be using event-specific stat cards, so there won’t be a need to attempt to balance out available lists against one another in this event. The new player, or Apprentice, will be using primarily casters, jacks, and soldiers, while the Mentor will be using available solo models to provide additional buffs and support. Complete details are available on the Privateer Press website.

Raging Heroes has finally released the Exemplar Sisters for their Toughest Girls of the Galaxy line. Formerly known as the Sisters regular troops, the Exemplar sisters were one of the most anticipated sculpts from the entire crowdfunding campaign, as they tapped into the strong desire of many Sisters of Battle players for new sculpts to replace the badly dated and difficult to find Games Workshop models. The company currently has a large number of bundle deals for both the sci-fi and fantasy Sisters armies, along with bundle deals for the Lust Elves and Void Elves (useful if you’re interested in picking up the new Drukhari codex from Games Workshop). The company is still offering an exclusive Sister miniature with a flamethrower when you spend at least 99€ on your order.

And finally, terrain and marker studio Warsenal has released a new set of Infinity terrain to coincide with the launch of the new Japanese Secessionist Army sectorial and the upcoming Infinity: Uprising campaign book. The first release wave contains a shrine, pavilion, bridge, two sets of stairs, and a set of four lanterns. Currently, there is no set date for the next wave of terrain to be released.
