11bit Studios has announced This War of Mine: The Little Ones is to come the the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This War of Mine was a PC game which you played as civilians in wartime trying to survive in a besieged city.

This War of Mine: The Little Ones will feature all the content that was released for PC's This War of Mine. As the title suggests this time you will be seeing the war from a child's perspective.

Deep Silver, who are publishing This War of Mine: The Little Ones on consoles, have released an announcement trailer that gives you the tone that the game will have. It can be seen below.

The trailer shows kids being kids. The first boy rushes his breakfast down when he realizes his friend is waiting outside to play. The two boys play and build a snow man as tanks roll down the street. The trailer conveys that kids view this horrible situation in a different way, they view the world differently. They run through the house past people who are injured and play even though they are in a war-zone and just down the street a battle is taking place.

The the official website for the This War of Mine: The Little Ones gives a description for the game. "This War of Mine: The Little Ones explores the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective; that of a child. Based on This War of Mine, The Little Ones puts you in charge of a group of adults and children stuck in the middle of hell, trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger. The question is: how far will you go to make it through another day?"

We have reached out to Deep Silver about whether or not this new version will be coming to PC but we have had no reply.

This War of Mine: The Little Ones is set to come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $29.99.
