The first major content update for Black Ops 4 is now live. Owners of the Black Ops Pass can expect to get two multiplayer maps, a star-studded Zombies map, and a new (cosmetic) Specialist in Blackout.

Madagascar and Elevation are your new multiplayer maps. Madagascar brings the fast-paced action of Black Ops 4 to the jungles of Africa in a suitably dry-looking map, whilst Elevation is a war-torn locale that's seen some intense action and presumably has some verticality to it.

Meanwhile, Black Ops 3's Reaper (the cool robot dude with the minigun in his arm) joins the cast of playable characters. These characters are all purely cosmetic so, unfortunately, you won't be getting his sweet minigun. Reaper is only coming to Blackout at this time, but it's possible that he may show up in multiplayer somewhere down the line. Treyarch has already added one new Specialist since launch, so we can probably expect more.

Finally, the brand new Zombies experience, which is likely to be the most substantial piece of content here. Dead of the Night challenges players to survive the Zombie horde during what appears to be a sophisticated soirée. This new map continues Call of Duty's recent trend of having a celebrity cast of playable characters.

The legendary Brian Blessed himself joins Game of Thrones' Charles Dance, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Kiefer Sutherland, and Harry Potter's Helena Bonham Carter in the latest Zombies experience.

Call of Duty Zombies has had some high profile guests before, with WWII's "The Final Reich" map featuring David Tennant and Ving Rhames.
