Rocket League Batmobile Preview

Rocket League is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and most recently last week Xbox One allowing nearly all players to get in on the rocket powered fun. Some recent events that we've seen in Rocket League have been the ice hockey game mode, which is currently playable on Xbox One, and even a Back to the Future car pack giving you access to the iconic DeLorean.

If the DeLorean wasn't doing it for you though players will soon be able to purchase the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice car pack. This DLC will cost $1.99 USD (or the equivalent of that in your region) and brings with it the Batmobile from the upcoming movie. Like other vehicles from guest properties the chances of being able to add customization items to the Batmobile is probably slim but you also get a couple of regular customization items with the purchase of this DLC. For any of your other battle cars you will have access to three exclusive Antenna Flags to show who you are rooting for; Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman.

This DLC has been officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the upcoming release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will be available in Rocket League on the 8th of March across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.

Quick Take

Rocket League developers Psyonix seem to be doing everything right for Rocket League and the support from the fans really shows it. As someone who was holding out for the Xbox One release, and now that I've already sunk more hours into Rocket League than I'm willing to admit, I'm glad these kinds of fun DLC packs are coming out as a good way to cross promote but that they're also not about to break the bank. It's a bit of something for everyone.

What do you think of the Batmobile coming to Rocket League? Are you happy or sad that the Tumbler probably won't be showing up anywhere anymore? Which superhero are you going to show support for? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
