Bandai Namco have announced a number of games that will be coming to North America. The Jump Fiesta event is taking place in Tokyo at the moment where this announcement was made.
The games announced as coming to North America are:
- JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven
- God Eater: Resurrection
- God Eater 2: Rage Burst
- Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force
- Tales of Berseria
- One Piece: Burning Blood
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is based on the anime and manga series. The game is described as a “ultra-stylish, two-versus-two 3D action-brawler”. It is being made by CyberConnect2 who have become very well known for their Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. Here is the announcement trailer.
God Eater: Resurrection is a remastered version of the original God Eater game being released on PS4 and Vita. With God Eater 2 being its sequel first released in Japan back in 2013 and its expansion titled God Eater 2: Rage Burst being released earlier this year.
Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force lets you play various scenarios from Mobile Suit Gundam to Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century.
Bandai Namco also announced that One Piece: Burning Blood, which was already confirmed for PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One, would also be coming to Steam at some point in 2016. They also announced one of the games pre-order bonuses on PS4 and Xbox One, Fourth Gear Luffy. With the other bonuses to be announced in the near future.
Tales of Berseria is the next installment in the Tales of series. Players will be playing the character of Velvet who has had a “traumatic experience” three years prior to when the game takes place. Tales of Zestiria, the last game in the series to come out was just released in October of this year in Europe and North America. The game is coming to both PC and PS4. A trailer for Tales of Berseria was released by Bandai Namco which can be seen here.
There has been no word from Bandai Namco if these games will be coming to Europe. It is a positive for European players hopping to play these games that they are being released in North America. But it is not guaranteed, game localization is very messy in the games industry and we will have to wait on official word from Bandai Namco.
Some of these games western players have been waiting along time to play and its always good that more people get to play games previously only available in one market.
What do you think? Were you hoping for any of these games to be released in the West? Is there another Bandai Namco game you were wanting to see on the list?
