Surviving Mars: Mysteries Resupply Pack, a new piece of free DLC for Haemimont Games & Paradox Interactive’s strategy game Surviving Mars, is now available on PC according to a news post on the game’s Steam community page.

If you haven’t yet played Surviving Mars, it makes for a pretty good city-building game set on the red planet. Players are tasked with establishing a human colony, first by sending a vanguard of drones to establish some basic production and residential buildings for the colonists. You can read about the game in more detail in our review.

Mysteries are a component of the game that comes up a little while after you’ve gotten your colony established, typically adding an unknown quantity that mixes up the gameplay. The Surviving Mars: Mysteries Resupply Pack sets out to add three new kinds of mystery to the game for players to enjoy, building on the existing nine mysteries already in the title. The St. Elmo’s Fire mystery has strange balls of light popping up all over the map. The Philosopher’s Stone has the player’s colonists encountering strange crystalline entities that pop up all over the planet. Finally, Metatron has the colonists facing a gigantic monolith that descends from the sky and hovers above your colony.

The Surviving Mars: Mysteries Resupply Pack DLC is now available for free on Steam. The console version of the DLC is set to launch tomorrow. If you don’t yet own Surviving Mars, you can pick it up via Steam for the PC (on sale 30% off), via the Humble Store [Affiliate Link] for PC, and on GOG for PC [Affiliate Link] (on sale 30% off) for $39.99 or your regional equivalent. Console players can get it for the Xbox One on the Microsoft Store or the PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation Store at the same price point.

Disclosure: GOG and Humble Bundle work with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from some links in this article. In addition, GOG provides a monthly giveaway to our Pack Hunter members.
