Zen Studios, those purveyors of digital pinball, have announced their next table pack, and it's an update to their Star Wars Pinball lineup. This couldn't be timed better considering that The Force Awakens has just recently dethroned Avatar as the highest grossing movie of all time. Star Wars is big business once again, finally saved from the clutches of George Lucas and his off-putting ideas for what a Star Wars continuation should look like. Instead, here is Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens to remind you about those other movies you saw when you were younger and also hopefully allow for some enjoyable multiball madness.

There are two tables in this pack. The first will be based directly on the film, with missions that change the environment of the table and its surroundings. This allows players to hop around the galaxy, just like Rey, Finn, BB-8, Ziro the Hutt and the rest of their favorite Star Wars characters. The second table, Might of the First Order, focuses on Kylo Ren and the villains of the film. It also features a two tiered playing surface and a magnetic upside down ramp that can be used to maneuver a Star Destroyer. You may remember the Star Destroyer as the signature ship of the Imperial fleet, which is completely different from the fleet of the First Order because...

The tables will be hitting both Star Wars Pinball and Pinball FX2 on January 12th, provided you're playing on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 10, Steam, iOS, Android, or FireOS. On mobile, the two pack will set you back $2, while elsewhere the price will be $5 with an option to purchase each table separately for $3 each.
