TR Member Perks!

Welcome to Shoestring gaming where we try to help point out some great deals and great games across the Internet. This week there are plenty of great games from places like HumbleBundle, GoG and our very own GameFan Shop.

First off is the stunning Humble Bundle for Awesome Games Done Quick 2015. This one has various price levels at $6, $10 and $30 offering a total of seven games for you such as Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and early access to SpeedRunners. All of these games and even subscriptions for xSplit and Twitch Turbo would normally cost you over $100, but with the Humble Bundle you can get them for what you want. As we explained earlier in our article about Awesome Games Done Quick 2015, this Humble Bundle will be raising money for the Prevent Cancer foundation too.

Humble Awesome Bundle

Be an awesome person and play some awesome games!

If that isn’t enough Duke Nukem GOG is having a 3D Realms 2D Platformers sale allowing you to not only get games like the original Duke Nukem 1 and 2 but also pick up such classics as Crystal Caves and Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventures. Like with GoG’s other deals, you can also add and remove games as you want to lower the price, but you’ll get the best bang for your buck if you pick up the whole thing.

One final great deal is from our very own GameFan Shop for Dark Souls II which is currently 50% off it’s normal price. Dark Souls II is part of the Demon/Dark Souls series of games that is widely renowned for it’s difficulty.

Dark Souls II

This game is not for those weak of heart or have limited patience.

As usual you can also check out Xbox’s Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus titles for January if you are on console and want to get in some gaming for free on consoles.

What do you think about this weeks deals? Are there any games or deals that have been missed?

I have been playing all kinds of games for as long as I can remember with a particular interest in action adventure and platforming titles. While I am primarily an Xbox gamer I also spend a fair bit of time on the PS4 and on my PC in VR.
