The games that I have for you this week are from GoG and Amazon and give you incredible value for a lot of games.

The Witcher vs

Face terrible foes in this action RPG and demonstrate the power of the Witchers.

First up for all of you who just can’t wait for the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GoG is putting the original Witcher: Enhanced Edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings both on sale. The Witcher follows the tale of Geralt of Rivia who is a witcher, a person who roams the country killing monsters for a living. As you try to recovery your memory you are thrown into a search to reclaim the stolen formula that can be used to create more Witchers. In Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings you continue the story of Geralt but with a brand new engine to feast your eyes on. This also comes with the Enhanced Edition additional content which includes a mod builder, new adventures, side quests, a new introduction and cinematics. Both The Witcher and The Witcher: Assassins of Kings are currently 80% off at GoG so head over and pick them up to get ready for the next game in the franchise.

If you still want to explore a wide open world but prefer a more modern game, then Rockstar might have exactly what you want with the Rockstar Classics Collection and the Rockstar Ultimate Collection over at Amazon. Rockstar Classic Collection gives you access to Bully: Scholarship Edition, Grand Theft Auto IV, LA Noire, Manhunt and Max Payne 3. Live the lives of schoolboys, russian mobsters, detectives and more with these 5 fantastic games. The normal price for all of these games is over $80 but this deal only costs $16.99. If that isn’t enough Rockstar for you, then the Ultimate Collection gives you access to those games as well as GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: Episodes from Liberty City, Manhunt 2, Max Payne 2 and Midnight Club 2. This collection of 11 great Rockstar games usually goes for $170 but at the moment is also extremely cheap for only $34.

What do you think of this selection of games? Are there any that you plan to pick up? Do you think is sufficient for how excited you are for the Witcher 3 or Grand Theft Auto’s PC release? Is there anything that you think I missed or that I could do better?

I have been playing all kinds of games for as long as I can remember with a particular interest in action adventure and platforming titles. While I am primarily an Xbox gamer I also spend a fair bit of time on the PS4 and on my PC in VR.
