PS Plus September

On the first Tuesday of every month the Instant Game Collection updates, allowing anyone who has a subscription to PlayStation Plus to nab a few games. September's games have been announced and it includes games about sliding your way through a desert, platforming your way through a desert, and bouncing your way through a desert.

First up are the PlayStation 4 games. This month sees Lords of the Fallen heading your way. A Dark Souls-styled game, in Lords of the Fallen you'll be playing as a prisoner who arrives at a castle in an attempt to assist a rebellion against the gods. Next up is Journey, an artistic game where you must guide your character to the mountain in the distance. Along the way, you'll slide through sandy ruins, climb an icy mountain, and avoid robots while teaming up with other travelers. Thanks to cross-buy Journey will also be available to download on the PlayStation 3.

Speaking of the PlayStation 3, it has two games of its own coming. First, you'll get Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The fourth entry in the Sands of Time subseries, and the most recent Prince of Persia game, here the Prince must learn various magical abilities that allow him to alter his environment and fight enemies while trying to save his kingdom and his brother. The second game you'll be getting is Datura, an experimental exploration game where you have to explore a forest while being pulled into dream-like scenarios to make strange choices.

Finally, you got two PlayStation Vita games. First here is Badland, a goofy platformer where you need to guide a flock of birds as they attempt to tumble away from chainsaws and crushing pillars. Thanks to cross-buy Badland will also be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 as well. The other game is Amnesia: Memories. The game is a visual novel where you play as a woman who has lost her memories and is trying to hide it. Along the way, you'll also partake in silly minigames. You can read our review of Amnesia: Memories here.

This also means this is your last chance to grab last month's games, which would be Tricky Towers and Rebel Galaxy for the PlayStation 4, Yakuza 5 and Retro/Grade (and Tom Clancy's EndWar for EU users) for the PlayStation 3, and Ultratron and Patapon 3 for the Vita.

Also, starting later this month North American users will have to pay more for PlayStation Plus. This change will not affect users in other parts of the world

How do you feel about this month's games? Excited for some of them? Don't care? Still want Killzone and Knack? Let us know in the comments!
