Kinect 2.0

The Kinect 2.0 has been removed from the Xbox One in a new bundle at the start of June and has reduced the price to $399. This price drop has already begun to show that it is a choice that consumers appreciate. No official numbers have been released but Microsoft has explained sales numbers from May to June have doubled.

Microsoft has come forward and said that “Since the new Xbox One offering launched on June 9th, we’ve seen sales of Xbox One more than double* in the US, compared to sales in May, and solid growth in Xbox 360 sales". After backlash from the initial announcement of the Xbox One requiring the Kinect, to the Kinect not being required but being sold with the Xbox One now the Xbox One and the Kinect are being sold separately and statistics are already showing that this is a positive direction for the Xbox. This price drop has also brought the Xbox One on par with the Playstation 4 in costs, though these increases in sales will help the Xbox catch up it may still take time.

You can pick up the new Xbox One bundle now for $399.
